I am a registered nurse at the local hospital. I work for a surgeon in the operating room. My daughter Kerry loves to see me with my scrubs on, and loves it when I let her wear my face mask and hat. We have spent plenty of Sunday afternoons playing with my stethoscope, and blood pressure kit. We have also gone up to the pediatric unit and visited other children on the unit.

This year, I am surprising her with her own nursing costume, complete with the scrubs, lab coat, stethoscope, face mask, gloves, operating hat, and crocs for her shoes. I think she will be so excited. We are having a Halloween party at the hospital for all the staff’s children.
