A customer wants to see a new car. The conversation between a customer and a salesman can be used to introduce some terms of reception to students.
II. Dialogue
Salesman: Welcome. What can I do for you?
Customer: I am looking for a new car that just came out on the market called the MXX.
Salesman: It is a very nice car and has a very good reputation.
Customer: May I look at it?
Salesman: Of course. The car is over there. This way, please.
Customer: Wow! What a nice body! It is very smooth. It has a calm and steady look.
Salesman: Would you like to look at the interior?
Customer: Oh! What a beautiful interior! It is very spacious and comfortable.
Salesman: Are you satisfied with this car?
Customer: Yes, it's pretty.
May I listen to the stereo system?
Salesman: Of course. You will enjoy it.
Customer: Nice! The bass makes me shake and the tone is graceful.
Salesman: Anything else you would like to know?
Customer: How about the engine performance and fuel consumption?
Salesman: The engine’s maximum output is 150 KW at 5000 rpm. The engine is a 3000 cc six cylinder 24-valve model. The fuel consumption is 15 kilometers per liter on the highway and 8 kilometers per liter in the city.
Customer: How much does it cost? Are there any promotions or sales on right now?
Salesman: The price is 600000 NT with no down payment and no interest for the first twelve months.
Customer: Thank you. Please give me your name card.
